FC Baldur's Magic Carpet Ride JH

 

My first, the benevolent leader, Baldur is the embodiment of his name. He is the reason I fell in love with the breed. 

He is a hard driving dog that covers ground easily and points with high style. Whether he is pointing birds, running, retrieving on land or in water, he always performs with the utmost enthusiasm. In the house he is relaxed, calm, and trustworthy, forever my faithful companion.

 

Baldur is a dual quality dog and has been field trialed extensively, completing his AKC Field Champion in 2010. He is well on his way to completing his Amateur Field Champion. Baldur excelled in the show ring in the short time he was there, earning 7 points in only a few weekends. His time in the field and ring has earned him a Versatility Certificate from the GSPCA. In 2014 he was ranked 13th nationally by the GSPCA by both dogs defeated and points earned in his class of  field trials.

 

In addition to field trialing Baldur has been hunted extensively in CT, MA, and NH. He has hunted pheasant, woodcock and grouse. Baldur excels on wild birds with a special love for woodcock.
